Results from H1 of the M2x (via @SinkovicBros)

The second World Rowing Cup of the season is underway in Varese, Italy, and there are a couple international athletes who are winning both on and off the water. After the racing today, which saw both Mahe Drysdale and the Sinkovic Brothers progress to the A/B semifinals, three of the world's best scullers took to Twitter, with Drysdale challenging Martin and Valent Sinkovic to come race in the single. And the results? Fantastic.

Here's hoping that this happens! For complete results from #WRCVarese, visit the official website of World Rowing. And for more from Italy, follow along as stroke of the Aussie M4x, David Watts, continues to run our Instagram account this week!

Takeover Varese with @david_watts_ (AUS M4X) With the first rounds of heats coming to a close the big names of rowing are starting to appear. Mahe Drysdale, Ondrej Synek, Olaf Tufte, Alan Campbell, Damir Martin and Angel Fouriner Rodriguez going straight through to their quarterfinals.
