About

Bryan Kitch - Editor

I'm a freelance writer with an athletic background, and interests in photography, design, and illustration. You can read my work in the UpMetrics' blog (Data for Good), Huckberry Journal, The Guardian (UK), Education Pioneers, AFAR, Edutopia, GOOD MagazineROWING Magazine, Row360, and of course right here on RR. In 2010, I started RowingRelated with the goal of delivering thought-provoking content to the rowing community, and have worked as a correspondent and contributing writer for ROWING Magazine since 2011, including covering the Olympic Games in London and Rio. I began rowing as a freshman at UCLA, where I served as varsity captain for two years, and was named to the Pac-10 All Conference Rowing Team in 2003. Since then, I've competed for the New York Athletic Club, and later for London Rowing Club while attending King's College London/UL. Please get in touch with questions or story ideas.
